All interactions with the EncaptureMD server use the HTTPS protocol, including passwords. Local clients have an auto-logout feature if the user fails to log out. All users are assigned passwords: there is no generic user.
- Full Audit Trail - User interaction with patient data is logged and the action, time, date and access points are stored, thereby providing a complete audit trail. If a report is edited after its completion, that fact is documented on the report with a non-editable line appended to the end indicating the report has been modified, by whom and at what time and date.
